About Us

The 7th Pay Commission, Government of West Bengal, has been constituted by the Government of West Bengal to undertake a comprehensive review of the existing pay structure, allowances, pensionary benefits and other service-related matters of employees and pensioners of the State Government and certain other bodies.
The Commission aims to examine the existing system in the light of changing economic conditions, administrative requirements and the evolving responsibilities of government employees. It will consider appropriate recommendations for a fair, rational and sustainable pay structure while keeping in view the financial resources of the State Government.
